What you are agreeing to
Stated here rather than linked to, because it is the part people find out about later.
- The price you see is the price charged. Prices are in US dollars and include VAT at 20%. No setup, handling or processing charges.
- A paid plan renews automatically — monthly plans each month, annual plans each year — until you cancel.
- We email you before every renewal, saying what is about to be charged and when, with a link to stop it.
- You can cancel from your billing page in two clicks. No phone call, no email, no retention flow.
- Cancelling stops the next charge. The plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for.
- You also have 14 days from purchase to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Two separate unticked boxes at checkout cover the one thing that ends that right early, and both are repeated in your order email.
- Allowances are a usage allowance, not money and not stored value. They do not carry over, and there are no top-up packs.
- There are no promotions, discounts, trials or countdowns on this site, so there are no promotional conditions to read.
The full terms are on the terms of service and cancellation and refunds pages.
What uses
what
An allowance unit is a usage allowance for this service. It is not money, not stored value, not redeemable for cash and not transferable. Unused units do not carry over into the next month, and there is no way to buy more separately — if you keep running out, the plan above is the answer.

Why the
free plan
stops there
Seeing that two lines come out identical when the report is printed is already worth something, and it is the finding you can check yourself by pressing print. So it is free.
The one that usually matters more is the one you cannot check yourself: that the same pair also merges under a common type of colour vision, and that the key on your chart depends on those two colours and nothing else. That is the result that changes what you do next.
And the ways-out card is the only part that solves the problem without redoing the work. Adding a dash pattern and a direct label takes a couple of minutes. Rebuilding a set of charts because someone couldn’t read the deck takes an afternoon. That is what the paid plans are for.
None of that changes what the service will and will not say. There is no plan on which it issues a compliance verdict, a score or a grade, and no plan on which it hands you replacement colours. Those are not features held back — they are not here at all.
Before
you pay
Does this mean my chart meets an accessibility standard?
No, and this does not answer that question in either direction. What you get is the measured contrast of each pair, and the threshold a standard names, printed alongside it. That is a numerical comparison, not a conclusion.
Whether something meets a standard depends on the size and weight of the type, what the colour is being used for, and whether the same information is carried in any other way. This can see none of those. So there is no opinion, no score, no grade and no pass mark anywhere here, and the output must not be used as the basis of an accessibility audit, assessment or statement. That is work for someone who can look at the whole thing.
How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?
Cancel from your billing page at any time, in a couple of clicks, without contacting anyone. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and does not renew.
You also have a 14-day right to cancel a new subscription under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. The full detail, including the one thing that ends that right early and the statutory cancellation form, is on the cancellation and refunds page.
How do the monthly allowances work?
Each plan includes a monthly allowance for using the service. An allowance is a usage allowance and nothing else: it is not money, not stored value, not redeemable for cash and not transferable.
Allowances do not carry over from one month to the next, and there are no top-up packs — if you regularly run out, the plan above is the answer. Prices are in US dollars (USD) and include VAT at 20%.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes. You must be at least 18 to open an account and to buy a subscription. This is a professional tool and it is not intended for or directed at children.
